The Studio

The person behind the work

Hi, I’m Radhika. I’m a designer based in India — and I’ve been making things for over a decade.

I studied design at NIFT Mumbai, started in print, moved into digital, and slowly found my way across branding, UX, social media, and motion. I’ve created brand and social work for companies like Schneider Electric and InterGlobe Enterprises across India and Europe.

I’ve freelanced for clients around the world, run social and content strategy for brands in tech, retail, and beauty, and spent four years building design systems from the ground up. I’ve designed everything from logos to magazines to 500 textile prints in a single internship.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with AI — not to replace the craft, but to stretch it. New tools, new ways of thinking, new things I didn’t know I could make.

In my free time, I illustrate. That chimp on the boat? That’s the energy I bring to every brief — curious, a little adventurous, always making something.

I travel when I can — not for the photos, but for the way new places rewire how I see things. A colour palette from a Rajasthan doorway. A layout idea from a Tokyo street sign. It all ends up in the work eventually.

I experiment with AI constantly — not because it’s trendy, but because I want to understand what it can and can’t do. I push it, break it, learn from it. It’s become part of how I think, not just how I produce.

And I still make things with my hands. Products, crafts, physical objects. There’s something about shaping something you can hold that keeps the screen work honest. The hands remember what the software forgets.

Maple Chimp is where all of it lives.
